At the 2022 Royal Rumble, Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey shocked the WWE Universe by winning their respective Royal Rumble Matches, Bobby Lashley conquered Lesnar to capture the WWE Title in controversial fashion, Universal Champion Roman Reigns snapped and lost to Seth "Freakin" Rollins by disqualification, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch survived Doudrop, and Edge & Beth Phoenix defeated The Miz & Maryse.
The past isn’t over for Roman Reigns as Seth “Freakin” Rollins used some crafty mind games to send The Head of the Table over the edge and force him to take a disqualification loss in an extremely personal battle.
