Chad Gable is a former Olympic athlete who brings the intensity, skill, and drive of a champion to WWE.

Hailing from Minnesota, a state known for its wrestling legacy, Gable was a state champion in high school before reaching the pinnacle of amateur wrestling in 2012, earning a spot on Team USA at the London Olympics. After the Games, Gable transitioned to WWE, signing on to train at the Performance Center.

Gable quickly rose through the ranks in NXT, where his partnership with Jason Jordan formed American Alpha, a team that dominated the NXT Tag Team Division and captured the NXT Tag Team Championship. After moving to SmackDown in 2016, they went on to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

After the duo’s split, Gable tagged with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Roode, and ventured into singles competition, even making it to the finals of the 2019 King of the Ring tournament. Eventually, Gable’s pursuit of the Intercontinental Championship was marred by frustration, culminating in a shocking confrontation with Sami Zayn. His behavior became more manipulative, leading to a dramatic fallout with Alpha Academy and his former allies, Otis and Maxxine Dupri, in June 2024. 

Now aligned with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile in American Made, Chad Gable isn’t just fighting for titles — he’s fighting to prove he’s one of the best to ever do it.
