Jey Uso: Bio

“YEET!”
From tag team mainstay to main event megastar, Jey Uso has carved out a legendary path — and he’s done it on his own terms.
A proud son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi and part of the legendary Anoa’i family, Jey and his twin brother Jimmy started as under-the-radar workhorses, flying high in face paint and bright colors while racking up multiple Tag Team Championships and Slammy Awards. But when the landscape changed, so did The Usos. They stripped it all back — black tees, black hoodies, and a cold new edge that gave birth to the Uso Penitentiary.
Together, they became one of WWE’s most decorated and dynamic tag teams — especially during their unforgettable rivalry with The New Day — cementing themselves as the gold standard in tag team wrestling.
But Jey’s story didn’t stop there.
After a personal war with cousin Roman Reigns, Jey fell in line under the “Head of the Table,” becoming his right-hand enforcer and earning the name “Main Event” Jey Uso. When Jimmy returned from injury, The Usos reunited and reclaimed the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, eventually setting the record for one of the longest reigns in WWE history.
That dominance ended at WrestleMania 39, when they lost the titles to Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, sparking the unraveling of The Bloodline. The turning point came at Money in the Bank 2023, when Jey shocked the world by pinning Reigns — becoming the first to do so in over three years during the epic Bloodline Civil War.
Since breaking away, Jey has stepped fully into the spotlight — winning the 2025 Royal Rumble Match, forming an alliance with Cody Rhodes, and proving he’s a true singles star. At WrestleMania 41, he completed his transformation by capturing the World Heavyweight Championship, adding his name to the long list of Anoa’i champions.
Now entering through the crowd to thunderous chants of “YEET!,” Jey Uso isn’t just a fan favorite — he’s a full-blown phenomenon.
