Mr. Iguana, Aero Star & Octagón Jr. def. Lince Dorado, Cruz del Toro & Dragon Lee
Dragon Lee and Cruz del Toro of The LWO teamed with Lince Dorado to take on AAA stars Mr. Iguana, Aero Star and Octagón Jr. to get Worlds Collide started off with a bang.
Mr. Iguana and his trusty pal, Yesca, wowed the WWE Universe with their unique style as Iguana battled Dorado, using Yesca to get Dorado off his game.
Yesca saw more action than perhaps he’d like to as Dorado attacked the stuffed animal, performing a Spanish Fly on Iguana’s pet.
The action was fast and off the charts as all six Superstars performed outside dives, hurricanranas, tornado dives and more.
With Octagón Jr. and Dorado fighting on the top-rope, Octagón performed a flipping fallaway slam to get the win for his team.
After the match, Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio mocked Octagón Jr., prompting Octagón to attack the champion.
This led to a challenge from Mysterio to Octagón Jr. for Money in the Bank!
Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice def. Chik Tormenta & Dalys
Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice battled AAA Superstars Chik Tormenta and Dalys in a showcase for the ages.
Vaquer tried going for the Devil’s Kiss but Tormenta was able to power out of it, sending Vaquer into the turnbuckle.
Vice hit two running hip attacks on both Tormenta and Dalys, but the AAA Superstars were able to quell Vice’s offense, cutting her off from her tag team partner.
Eventually, Vice and Vaquer got the advantage, performing a double Devil’s Kiss on Tormenta and Dalys.
After some back-and-forth with Dalys, Vaquer’s teacher, La Primera hit the SVB to win the match for her team.
Legado del Fantasma def. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown & Pagano
AAA Superstars El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown and Pagano brought the bizarre as they collided with Legado del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar, Angel and Berto at Worlds Collide.
Pagano tried to take out Angel and Berto by flying through the ropes but they moved out of harm’s way just in time, leading to Pagano hitting nothing but the ground.
Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown and Pagano hit tandem high-flying dives to the outside, leaving Angel, Berto and Escobar worse for the wear.
After some incredible action, Escobar nailed the Phantom Driver onto Wagner Jr. to earn the victory for Legado del Fantasma.
NXT North American Champion Ethan Page def. Laredo Kid, Je’Von Evans and Rey Fenix in a Fatal Four-Way Match
NXT North American Champion Ethan Page had to contend against Je’Von Evans, Rey Fenix and AAA’s Laredo Kid in an edge-of-your-seat Fatal Four-Way Match at Worlds Collide.
Laredo Kid took flight, hitting a superb moonsault from the top rope onto Evans and Page outside the ring, before Fenix took the air as well, taking out everyone outside the ropes with an impressive twisting dive.
Kid wowed once more with a diabolical Mexican Destroyer DDT onto Fenix that almost scored the win.
Evans somehow upped the ante, leaping across the ring to nail a Swanton Van Daminator onto Kid before hitting the Springboard Cutter against Fenix, but Page was able to stop Evans from earning the pinfall.
Fenix nailed a Spanish Fly on Kid before Page hit the Ego’s Edge on Fenix, but Evans flew out of nowhere to continue the match.
Evans hit the Springboard Cutter on Kid, but Page sent Evans out of the ring, allowing Page to nail the Twisted Grin against Kid to win the match and retain his NXT North American Championship.
AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo def. Chad Gable
Chad Gable looked to win his first singles championship, taking on AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo.
Vikingo got the WWE Universe on their feet at the Kia Forum, hitting an out-of-this world 630 Splash onto Gable’s back outside of the ring.
Gable brought out a table in frustration, looking to hurt Vikingo with splintered wood.
Vikingo managed to avoid the weapon, bringing Gable back into the ring, hitting a magnificent twisting 450 Splash that Gable miraculously kicked out of.
Gable connected with an inverted avalanche sit-out powerbomb from the top rope as Vikingo performed a miracle of his own by staying in the fight.
Vikingo stunned Gable with a jaw-dropping Mexican Destroyer on the ring apron but Gable thwarted Vikingo’s victory.
Gable laid Vikingo onto the table outside the ring, soaring through the air to hit a beautiful moonsault straight onto Vikingo through the table.
Gable and Vikingo battled until Vikingo nailed the 630 Splash again to win the much-earned victory and retain his title.
